Senator Adeleke, Governor With A Human Face  – Hon Aransi


*Lauds Osun Assembly over  Disability Bill

The Special Adviser to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Special Needs, Hon. Kamil Aransi has described Gov Ademola Adeleke as a governor with a human face.

Hon Aransi in a statement made available to newsmen, also lauded the Osun State House of Assembly over over the successful passage of the Osun State Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities (Prohibition) Bill, 2024.

According to Hon Aransi, Gov Adeleke is consciously driven by compassion and extreme affection for the poor and vulnerable, disclosed that his principal would be eager to sign the bill into law, set up the necessary bureau, and allow it to function for the public good.

” Senator Adeleke is a leader for all. I am glad that Osun State is leading the discussion of empowering persons with disabilities through state apparatus, and it shows the compassion and desperation of the governor to grow the state in all measures, he said.

On the bill, the Special Adviser to Governor Adeleke on Special Needs specifically praised Rt. (Hon) Adewale Egbedun, Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Obokun lawmaker, Hon. Adeyemi Adewumi,  and other legislators in the House.

Stressing that the bill stands as a better approach to assist the government and people with disabilities in their journey of inclusion, he commended Hon. Adewumi Adeyemi for sponsoring the bill.

Hon  Aransi stated that he has no doubts that the bill would not only secure the welfare, health and education of every person with disabilities in the state but also protect their rights, adding that the Disability Prohibition Bill would give equal rights to participation in decision-making, and persons with disabilities would be able to contribute their quota to the growth and development of the state.
