Following the rising spate of insecurity, one person has been reportedly killed by unidentified gunmen in a hotel around Ezzamgbo junction axis in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
While confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Joshua Ukandu on Monday, said the gunmen attacked a hotel located around Ezzamgbo junction on Sunday night, which led to unfortunate killing of one person.
According to the Police spokesperson, several vehicles were set ablaze in the hotel by the gunmen during the attack.
He said that the police has swung into action, to unravel those behind the attack and therefore called on the people to go about their normal businesses as police authorities are on top of the matter.
