Emir Of Zazzau Expresses Concerns Over Increase Of Banditry, Kidnapping In Emirate

The Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli has expressed concerns over the issue of kidnapping and banditry in Giwa, Igabi and the recently Soba local government areas,
Emir Bamalli was speaking at the 10th day of. Ramadan breaking of fast where sons and well wishers of Zazzau Emirate gathered alongside to eat and drink as a tradition.
He said, the situation is becoming more alarming and worrisome as the emirate is receiving reports on the issues of kidnapping and banditry on daily basis from Giwa and Igabi local government areas.
The emir advised communities to join hands with security agencies around by providing them with useful information on any suspicious movement by anybody so that the situation will be under control.
The traditional ruler expressed satisfaction with the performance of security agencies in the emirate for their tireless efforts whenever the need arises, without delays, swinging into action.
He urged the communities to support the security agencies by exposing the criminals residing within them for immediate response.
The emir advised parents to be vigilant on their children and to know their movement and associates in order to avoid engaging in criminal activities.
He also advised parents on the need to give their children education and skills acquisition to enable them become self reliant or employers of labour.
