Fintiri’s S’court Victory: Deputy Gov Commends Judiciary, Calls On All Citizens To Support Adamawa Project

The Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, has commended the judiciary for its integrity, following its reaffirming of the election of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, by the Supreme Court
Farauta, who was full of appreciation, thanked the state’s citizens for maintaining peace throughout the legal process, from the lower courts to the Supreme Court.
According to her, the government can now focus on developing the state without distractions.
She however, called on the people of the state to collaborate with the government in driving development at all levels.
“We thank those who prayed secretly, openly, and individually for today’s verdict. We call on everyone, as long as you have the interest of Adamawa at heart, to join hands and move the state forward,” she said.
New Nigerian reports that the people of Adamawa State were suddenly thrown into celebration immediately after the Apex court judgment supporting Gov. Fintiri victory at the polls.
A large crowd, carrying the flag of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was seen celebrating the Supreme Court’s judgement on the major streets of the state capital.
