Kolawole Babatunde Lauds Aiyedatiwa On Infrastructure As LACO-FS Inaugurates Akoko South East Chapter

A political group, Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organisation Foot Soldiers (LACO-FS) has inaugurated the Akoko South East Local Government Chapter of the group. 

Speaking at the inauguration, the convener of the group, Hon. Oladipipo Okeyomi, said the rationale behind inauguration of the chapter was to canvass support for the gubernatorial ambition of the Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

Okeyomi, however, expressed optimism that Aiyedatiwa would emerge as the candidate of party, adding that the Governor possess qualities to pilot the affairs of the state. 

Also speaking, the Director General of LACO-FS, Hon. Saka Ogunleye, noted that APC Chieftains and party members in the state have thrown their weight behind Aiyedatiwa, maintaining that the inauguration at the local government level will enhance political participation in the area. 

He said, “We are pleased to inaugurate LACO-FS at the local government level that is dedicated to supporting the esteemed leadership of Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, the Governor of Ondo State. 

“As citizens deeply committed to the progress and development of our state, we recognize Governor Aiyedatiwa’s visionary leadership, unwavering dedication to service, and his transformative agenda aimed at uplifting the “lives of all Ondo State residents.

“Our group stands united in our belief that under Governor Aiyedatiwa’s guidance, Ondo State will continue to experience unprecedented growth and prosperity across all sectors. We are inspired by his inclusive governance style, which prioritizes the needs and aspirations of every citizen, irrespective of background or affiliation.

“Through grassroots mobilization, community engagement, and advocacy for Governor Aiyedatiwa’s policies and initiatives, our group is poised to play an active role in advancing the collective interests of our local communities and contributing to the overall advancement of Ondo State.

A chieftain of the party, Hon. Babatunde extolled the virtues and leadership qualities of Governor Aiyedatiwa, emphasizing his integrity and proven track record as Deputy Governor, Acting Governor, and now Governor.

Hon. Babatunde underscored his support for Governor Aiyedatiwa’s continued tenure beyond 2025, citing assurances to complete ongoing projects initiated by the late Governor Akeredolu and strengthen party structures across the state.

The LACO-FS coordinator for Akoko South East, Hon. Adesina Adeola (Easy Way) pledged to uphold the trust vested in him by the people, ensuring their voices are heard and needs addressed. 

Acknowledging the pivotal role played by Hon. Kolawole Babatunde in providing leadership and mobilizing support, Adeola said Babatunde has dedicated his time and commitment to the development of the party. 

Among the distinguished figures in attendance were retired Capt. Vincent Oyepata, a prominent member of the APC Akoko Elders Forum; Hon. Adaramola A. A. F., former ACN State Secretary; Chief (Mrs.) Obafemi Florence, former APC Local Government Women Leader; Hon. Shina Alaye, former APC State Secretary; Elder Adegbola Rufus, retired Director in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry; Hon. Aminu Vincent, former Ondo North Senatorial Youth Leader; and Hon. Rufus Ogedengbe, a former Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly. The event also welcomed other respected personalities including Hon. Ayimoro G. E., Baba Oloruntoba Johnson, Mrs. Awolowo Oluremi, Elder Olofin Ahmed, Hon. Balogun Gabriel, Mr. Atanda Adaramola, Hon. Kola Ajisafe, Mr. Bayode Osegbagi, and Hon. Ade Adeeko.
