Ramadan: Time To Renew Our Relationship With Almighty Allah,  Touch Lives Of  Less Privileged – Uba Sani

Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani on Monday,  felicitated  the Muslim faithful in the state, Nigeria and across the globe on the commencement of the glorious month of Ramadan.

Governor Uba Sani said Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam.

“It is a time for sober reflection, generosity, self-denial and empathy. It is a time to touch the lives of the poor, vulnerable and underserved across the world.

“I urge us to seize the opportunity of this Ramadan period to renew our relationship with Almighty Allah. Our disengagement from our creator is responsible for most of the ills in our respective countries.

“For us in Nigeria, the Ramadan period affords us the opportunity to reflect on the huge economic and security challenges facing our country, work as a collective to fashion effective strategies, and seek Allah’s guidance and intervention. With fervent prayers, all things are possible.

“I wish the good people of Kaduna State a glorious Ramadan. May the spirit of this holy month stay in our hearts and illuminate our souls.

Ramadan Mubarak,” he said.
