Again, Bandits Abduct 87  In Kaduna Community

Eighty-seven (87) people were on Sunday night, were said to have been abducted by bandits in a fresh attack on the Kajuru-Station community in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

A source told New Nigerian that the bandits who came in their large numbers, started shooting sporadically when they stormed the community by breaking into shops and stealing foodstuff and other valuables.

He further explained that the bandits invaded the area around 10pm, barely few days after about 15 women and a man were abducted at the Dogon-Noma community of the same local government Area.

He explained that the villagers are in trauma following the sad development, appealing that the government needs to re-strategise in tackling these terrorists’ invasion in most parts of the state.

He also appealed to the federal and Kaduna State governments to draft security personnel to areas most affected by the frequent attacks by the terrorists.

ASP Mansir Hassan, the state Police Public Relations Officer, did respond to calls put to his phone.
