New REDAN Vice Chair Harps On Professionalism In Real Estate Sector

The newly appointed Vice Chairman of Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), Abuja Chapter, Dr Gbadewole Kayode, has emphasised the need for members to be instilled with professionalism in the real estate sector in Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja and Nigeria at large.

Kayode, who is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Crown Allied Global Realty & Homes Ltd, said under his watch, the association will collaborate with affiliate bodies in a bid to ensure that there is sanity and discipline among real estate developers.

An elated Kayode stated in Abuja in his acceptance speech that, “I am honoured and privileged to have been appointed vice chairman of an innovative, forward-thinking and member-driven association.

“My primary goals and objectives as the newly elected Vice Chairman include, among others, membership mobilizations and registration to have an all-inclusive REDAN in FCT.”

He emphasised the importance of instilling discipline and professionalism among real estate developers in the FCT Abuja, and ensuring effective intergovernmental relations among regulatory authorities and professional bodies.

He also highlighted the need to collaborate with entities such as the Department of Development Control, FCDA, AGIS, Nigeria Society of Engineers, COREN, and Nigeria Institute of Town Planners, by estate developers.

He further added that Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria is dedicated to leadership in the industry, the real estate profession, and the communities they serve, adding that their impact in key policy decision cannot be be over-emphasised.

Dr. Gbadewole is renowned Economist with B.Ec Econs from University of Ilorin, and has his MBA (Finance) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State and he is a Chartered Banker, Fellow of Institute of Public Management and Politics, Accra Ghana, amongst others.
