Oyo Govt Will Embark On Rehabilitation Of Water Schemes Across All Zones – Corporation Chairman

The Executive Chairman of Oyo State Water Corporation, Hon. Elias Adeojo has disclosed that Oyo State Government is ready to spread its tentacles to all the geo-political zones in the state.
Hon Adeojo who stated this during a visit to the ongoing rehabilitation work in Ogbomoso Water Supply Scheme, said all the schemes of the Corporation will be resuscitated to their full capacities to serve the teeming population of the state.
The chairman while maintaining that provision of clean water to the residents remains one of the agenda of Governor Seyi Makinde’s second term highlighted the need for replacing the main pipes that supply water to Ogbomoso town, as some of them have become obsolete or damaged due to urbanization.
Hon Adeojo during the visit met with the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghamdi Afolabi Olaoye, to discuss the rehabilitation work with the Chairman expressing his gratitude for the monarch’s support in the Corporation’s efforts to rehabilitate the water supply scheme.
The chairman called on other monarchs, well-meaning individuals, and corporate organizations in the state to support the government’s development initiatives.
Already, la team of engineers from the corporation has already begun repair work in the Ogbomoso Water Supply Scheme, replacing AC pipes with ductile pipes.
The rehabilitation work is expected to be completed in a record time, ensuring that residents of Ogbomoso have access to clean and safe water.
