Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker House of Representatives Dr. Abbas Tajuddeen, Dr. Yusuf Yahaya Kwaros, has described the Speaker’s gesture to his constituents at this Ramadan period as worthy of emulation by other political office holders.
Yahaya Kwaros was speaking during the distribution of foodstuff to the Speaker’s constituents in order to put smiles on their faces during this period of Ramadan.
He said this gesture from the Honourable Speaker, is not the first, and would not be the last as it will be a continuous process.
The Senior Legislative Aide said the distribution of foodstuff has no barrier either by political party, religion or ethnicity.
According to him, the gesture has captured institutions, agencies, security operatives, associations and religious groups domicile in Zaria Local Government Area as beneficiaries.
He called on the people of Zaria Federal Constituency to support and pray for the Rt. Hon. Speaker Abbas Tajuddeen, to succeed in his mission and vision for his people as their representative at the National Assembly.
Yusuf Kwaros said in less than a year in office, the Speaker has proved to his constituents his commitment towards uplifting and assisting the electorate.
Similarly, the Speaker has distributed tractors, Keke Napeps, motorcycles, water pumping machines and grinding machines as part of support to make people self reliant.
