A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Engr Oyedele Alao (aka Allow Alao) has charged Christians to imbibe virtues of Jesus Christ

Engr Alao stated this in a statement he personally signed to felicitate with Gov Seyi Makinde and the entire Christians and their leaders  in Oyo state.

The APC Chieftain pointed out that  Christian community all over the world should celebrate the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ by imbibing the virtues of tolerance, sacrifice and love as exemplified by Jesus Christ.

He stressed that it is important for them to use the period to seek the face of God and work towards a peaceful and progressive state, stating that the season calls for reflection on the sacrifices that Christ made and the new life that His resurrection represents.

“I want to sincerely congratulate the Christian faithful in our dear state particularly Governor Makinde and all Christian leaders, for witnessing another celebration of Easter,” he said.

Engr Alao added, ” It is my belief that the Christian faithful will not forget the essence of the season which is to love one another, so they must put aside their differences and come together in unity, just as Christ’s resurrection brought together people from all walks of life.

“They must continue to seek the face of God and work together towards building a society where peace, unity, and progress thrive. Thus we all owe it a duty to continue to demonstrate love and kindness towards one another.

“Wishing the people of Oyo state a spiritually rewarding Easter celebration, the Asiwaju of Irokoland urged them to intensify prayers for the success of the administrations of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Makinde.

“There is no doubt that the country and the state presently are facing challenges, however with the support and prayer of all most especially during this season, we would certainly overcome”.
