A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Oyo State, Engr Oyedele Hakeem Alao on Saturday, felicitated the wife of late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Dr. (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, on her 65th birthday.
The APC chieftain in a congratulatory message described Mrs Ajimobi as a virtuous woman and a strong pillar behind her husband and as well remains a great source of inspiration to the womenfolk not only in Oyo State but all over the country.
Emphasizing that Mrs Ajimobi, ” is an icon whose milk of kindness has continued even after her tenure as First Lady in Oyo State”, she said “as a wife who holds tenaciously to the memory of her husband Mrs. Ajimobi has continued to hold aloft the political legacy of late Senator Ajimobi.
“I want to join the teeming admirers and well wishers of the former First Lady of Oyo State and wife of our Leader, late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Dr. (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, as she clocks 65 years in the land of the living”, he said
Engr Alao added, Mrs. Ajimobi deserves to be celebrated because apart from being a strong pillar behind the successes that could be ascribed to our great Leader, she is a role model to the womenfolk whose imprints while in and out of office have remained indelible”
“I wish our dear former First Lady many more years in the land of the living in good health, peace of mind and sustained prosperity.”
