TY Buratai  Foundation Extends Condolences To Oyo State,  Ibadanland Over Passing Of Olubadan

In a heartfelt gesture of condolence and respect, the TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation (TYBHCF) has extended its sympathy to the Oyo State Government, Olubadan-in-Council, the Oyo State Traditional Council, and the people of Ibadanland following the passing of the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Mohood Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II.

The Chairman of the foundation, Amb Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani (Sadaukin Garkuwan Keffi), conveyed the foundation’s deep sorrow in a statement that was shared with the press. 

“The Foundation’s Grand Patron, His Excellency, Ambassador Lt Gen Tukur Yusufu Buratai (Rtd) CFR, former Chief of Army Staff Aare Akinrogun of Ibadanland, expressed shock at the news and offered prayers for the peaceful repose of Oba Balogun’s soul. He also acknowledged the late monarch’s enduring legacy as a symbol of royal excellence and accomplishment,” it said 

The statement further expressed the foundation’s condolences to the immediate family of Oba  Balogun, the Olubadan-in-Council, the Oyo State Traditional Council, and the entire people of Ibadanland during this period of mourning. 

“The TYBHCF stands in solidarity with all those affected by the loss of a revered leader and pillar of the people .

“As the kingdom grieves the passing of a significant figure, the Foundation’s message of condolence serves as a reminder of the shared sense of loss and the enduring legacy of Oba Dr. Mohood Lekan Balogun,” it said.
