Katsîna Governor Mourns Demise Of Father Of SA  Political Who Died At 110

Alhaji Umaru Gajere Gwojo Gwojo, the father of the Special Adviser to Katsina State Governor on Political Matters and former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ya’u Umar Gwojo Gwojo is dead.

Aged 110, Alhaji Umaru Gajere died at Federal Teaching Hospital in Katsina after an illness.

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda was amongst hundreds of People who attended the funeral rite of late Umaru Gajere at Gwojo Gwojo town in Mai’adua local government area of the state.

Governor Dikko Radda in company of his Deputy Alhaji  Faruq Lawal Jobe and the Speaker State House of Assembly Nasiru Yahya Daura joined other Muslim sympathisers to  escort the remain of the late Ahaji Umar to a grave yard in Gwojo Gwojo town where he was laid to rest.

Similarly, a Katsina based business Mogul and Chairman of Max Air and Afdin Group of Companies, Alhaji Dahiru Bara’u Mangal and several other important personalities within and outside the state including Niger Republic, paid condolence visit to the former Speaker of the Katsina State house of Assembly, Alhaji Ya’u Umar Gwojo Gwojo in Gwojo Gwojo town over the death of his father.

Late Alhaji Umaru Gajere Gwojo Gwojo until his death is survey by Two wives, ten children and many grand and great grand children. 

Among his children include, Alhaji Ya’u Umar Gwojo Gwojo, Alhaji Nasiru Umar of the forestry office Mai’adua local government and a farmer Alhaji Ibrahim Umar.
