Kaduna State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has joined other well meaning Nigerians to congratulate Uba Sani over the last Friday’s ruling by the Apex court affirming him as the duly elected Governor of Kaduna State in the 2023 general election.
NUJ also described the decision of the Court as a resounding victory for all peace-loving citizens of the state while also appealing to all and sundry to support and cooperate with Governor Uba Sani for a more peaceful and prosperous Kaduna State.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Council, they expressed optimism in the ability and capacity of Governor Uba Sani to effect positive changes and restore the hope of the common man, especially in the areas peace and security, unity and religious harmony as well as socioeconomic and political growth.
According to the statement, Governor Uba Sani has demonstrated visionary qualities of a leader with genuine concern for the welfare and wellbeing of his citizens through renewed approach towards interethnic and religious tolerance in all sections of the state, hence the need for prayers and cooperation by all to enable him succeed in his developmental projects.
The Council further implored people in Kaduna state to take advantages of the meaningful developmental policies and programs of the present administration in the State for lasting security and harmonious coexistence.
