Ibadan Protesters Accuses Tinubu Administration Of Anti People Policies


*Demand end to hunger insecurity, economic hardship in Nigeria

Protesters from across Ibadan on Monday,  took to the streets in the town to stage peaceful rally over the increasing cost of foodstuffs and insecurity in Nigeria.

The protesters mostly youth, ignored warning from the Oyo State Police Command against any unauthorized rally in and across the state saying some faceless agents are planning to cause chaos in the state 

As early as 7.30am, hundreds of the protesters mainly youths arrived on the Mokola roundabout meeting point in Ibadan for the peaceful demonstration with  placards condemning the President Bola Tinubu led administration and its style of governance.

The protesters were kicking against the policies of President Tinubu administration which they claimed are against the people and should be discontinued with placards having inscriptions like “Tinubu Must Address Insecurity” and “Hunger is Killing Us.”.

Specifically, the protesters were specifically asking President Tinubu to immediately address the issues of insecurity and economic hardship as well as hunger in the land as the high cost of living in the country is presently making living  difficult for Nigerians.

The protesters moved from 

Mokola to Sango, Bodija, Agodi Secretariat, Total Garden and returned to Mokola chanting anti government songs .

Men of the Oyo state Police command and  other security agencies in the state monitored  the protesters to prevent hoodlums from hijacking the peaceful protest
