Palliatives: Governor Uba Sani Support Group Distributes 5 Thousand Bags Of Grains To Kaduna North Women

As part of efforts to alleviate the hardship faced by people in the country,

Governor Uba Sani Support Group under the leadership of the  Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos has distributed over five thousand  bags of grains to women in Kaduna North.

The distribution was overseen by the commissioner with support from former Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency, Mukhtar Ramadan Yero,  among others.

Speaking during the flagging off, His Excellency, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, said  the purpose of the palliatives is to address the economic hardship faced by the people in the country at the moment.

According to him, the government of Uba Sani has done very well by this singular gesture by tackling challenges of food shortage and to put smiles on the faces of people, during the sacred month of Ramadan.

The former governor called on the good people of the state to support the present administration as it has a lot of developmental programmes to carry out in the state.

He also advised the beneficiaries of the  grains not to sell them as they will go a long way in their various homes.

Speaking earlier, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, said the country is going through a lot right now as there’s no better time than to come up with this palliatives program to ease the suffering been faced by the citizens of the state.

He said, Kaduna State Government is concerned about the hardship and is currently working to make life better for everyone.

Mamman Lagos added that the gesture is in line with Governor Uba Sani’s commitment towards ensuring that every resident of Kaduna State is adequately supported by the government as an encouragement for better opportunities to come.
