Kwara Gov Welcomes Onikijipa’s Emergence As New TUC Chair

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has  welcomed the emergence of Alhaji Abdulrahman Olayinka Onikijipa as the new state chairman of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) at the recently held triennial conference of the labour body in Ilorin. 

The governor commended the choice of Alhaji Onikijipa for the position, saying the government looks forward to a harmonious working relationship with the new TUC leader and his team. 

Governor AbdulRazaq said Onikijipa’s exemplary performance and good antecedents at the RTEAN point at a brighter future for the TUC in the state. 

The governor commended the outgoing TUC Chairman, Comrade Tunde Joseph for his patriotic and pragmatic leadership throughout his tenure, especially his passion for healthy dialogue and partnership with the government. 

The governor prayed to Almighty God to guide Alhaji Onikijipa and his team on the new task of working for improved welfare of the workers and nation-building, which the leadership of the labour union entails.
