Chairman of Bakori Local Government Council of Katsina State, Alhaji Ali Mamman Mai Citta has described the appointment of a Veteran Journalist Alhaji Lawal Attahiru Bakori as General Manager of the State Radio Service as best option toward the development
of the station.
Alhaji Mamman Mai Citta stated this when he led Councillors and APC stakeholders from the area to a congratulatory visit to the General Manager of Katsina State Radio Service.
He said the selection of Lawal Attahiru Bakori would no doubt enhance the smooth runing of the Radio Station for continued airing of meaningful programmes.
Alhaji Ali Mamman Mai Citta urged the General Manager to use his experience to justify the confedence repose in him by the Governor and the good people of Bakori.
The Council Chairman expressed gratitude to Governor Dikko Umar Radda for the selection of two sons of the area to lead the Agricultural and Information discimination sectors.
Also speaking, two of the APC Stakeholders from the areas Alhaji Kabir Mamman and Alhaji Sanusi Magayaki hoped that the General Manager would put on his best and carry all along.
Similarly, the Council’s leader Alhaji Mohamed Haruna scored high Governor Dikko Umar Radda for a step to address insecurity which according to him has started yielding positive impact.
Responding, the General Manager of the Radio station, Alhaji Lawal Attahiru Bakori thanked them for the visit and assured not batray the trust repose on him..
Alhaji Lawal Attahiru Bakori said withing short period of his leadership, the Radio station was witnessing treamendous transformation in terms of quality and steady transmission.
He urged the visitors to always be at for front at offering critical advises on how best to improve.
The General Manager assured to have a good listening ear in advises as his doors always remain open.
