For the betterment and development of Adamawa State, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has expressed  readiness to work with members of opposition parties.

He maintained that, he will remain neutral in pursuit for the provision of dividends of democracy to every citizen of the state.

Fintiri stated this shortly after his arrival in Yola on Friday after his Supreme Court victory.

He assured that he would continue to work for the interest of people of the state, peaceful coexistence and more development in all sectors.

He stressed that his administration has always championed the course of the masses, not minding their stand across party lines and called on the citizens to support him to build a state they wish and yearn for.

“We’ve never created any gap all along, we’ve always assured people of Adamawa State that we are out to work for them and their interest. We are never distracted for one second because of the mischief of political gangsters.

We will continue to work with them and ensure that we partner with the judiciary to build our democracy and our country.

“We are taking Adamawa to greater heights and to the level of our dream. This is my assurance,” he said.

It would be recalled that the appeal, filed by the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Aishatu Binani, was dismissed by the apex court on Wednesday for lack of merit.
