His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto who is also the President Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) ,Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III is to commission Nasarawa’s newly designed and reconstructed Central Mosque on Friday, February 16, 2O24 in Nasarawa town of Nasarawa LGC of Nasarawa State.
A statement issued and signed on Wednesday and made available to newsmen in Maiduguri by Dr. Idris Mohammed Loko, the Malamin Sarkin Nasarawa who is also the Chairman, Publicity and Protocol Sub- Committee, said His Royal Highness (HRH), the Emir of Nasarawa, Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibril who was also a former Minister of Environment during former President Muhammadu Buhari, invites Muslim Ummah to witness the commissioning ceremony of the Nasarawa New Central Mosque complex.
The statement added that the ceremony will be held simultaneously with the launching of a fund raising activity at the Emirs Palace, Nasarawa with Nasarawa State Governor, Engr Abdullahi Sule as Special Guest of Honour, while Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada will serve as Chief Launcher and Professor Khalid Aliyu, the Secretary General of JNI will serve as Guest Speaker.
