Katsina State Government has reiterated its commitment to implement policies and initiatives to improve welfare of its citizens.
Speaking at the special Durbar popularly known as “Hawan Magajiya” in Daura, the State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda emphasized the government’s commitment to the well-being of the common man.
Governor Dikko Radda expressed gratitude for the support of the people and urged for continued prayers to ensure the success of his administration policies.
Governor Radda in a Statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mohammed Kaula highlighted recent achievements including the recruitment of teachers and the award of foreign scholarships to deserving indigenous students, which were conducted solely on merit-based criteria.
The Katsina State Governor emphasized the importance of transparent procedures in ensuring that targeted beneficiaries have access to opportunities.
He affirmed his government’s adherence to established protocols in all its endeavors, underscoring its commitment to transparency and fairness.
In a bid to preserve cultural heritage and promote tourism, Governor Radda pledged increased investment in supporting emirate councils to position Katsina State as a premier tourist destination.
Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, “promised to make attending the annual Sallah Durbar in Daura a government tradition, akin to the practice in the Katsina Emirate.”
The “Hawan Magajiya” Durbar witnessed the presence of notable dignitaries, including the state Deputy Governor, Faruq Lawal Jobe, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Nasiru Yahya Daura, and Bulgarian Ambassador to Nigeria, Yanko Yordanov.
Others in attendance include, Secretary to the Government of the State, Barrister Abdullahi Garba Faskari, Chief of Staff of the Government House, Honourable Jabiru Tsauri and various members of the legislative and the state executive council.
