The Executive Chairman of Dawakin Tofa Local Government Council, Honourable Ado Tambai Kwa has stressed that the  recent peaceful visit to Kano State by the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is a testimony of  democratic progress and meaningful opposition.

He disclosed this in a chat with our correspondent, shortly after the APC stakeholders meeting held in the state under the leadership of the party’s  national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje.

He added that although there is an opposition in Kano, but the political big wigs remain committed to the peaceful coexistence between the two strong parties which is a landmark of achievement in the state’s democratic process.

” I am very happy to state that despite strong opposition in our great state, our political mentors remained steadfast in the promotion of peace and unity because from what had happened during the visits of our national chairman, Kano maintained its status quo in politics and leadership”. He emphasized.

Ado Tambai Kwa commended the  people of Kano State from all political parties, for being law abiding, peace loving and democratic promoters where the visit of the  APC national chairman remains remarkable and successful.

The chairman prayed that Kano would continue to enjoy democracy and benefit more dividends of democracy,  despite party differences.

“Kano politicians are very united and ready to develop the state to an exemplary domain,” he said.
