IWD: Katsîna Governor Reaffirms  Administration’s Commitment To Empowering Women

 As the Global Community marked  year 2024 International Women’s Day (IWD) Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to empowering women in the State.

  A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed said this year’s  theme:- “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress” resonates deeply with the Governor’s vision for a more inclusive and prosperous Katsina State. 

  Governor Radda pledged his administration’s unwavering support to developing sound initiatives and administration policies that would promote rights and well-being of women across

 in state.

The statement said under Governor Radda’s leadership, the State Government has been implementing policies and programs aimed at eliminating gender disparities and creating equal opportunities for all.

  “From education to healthcare, entrepreneurship to leadership, the government is working tirelessly to ensure that women are given the platform and resources they need to actualize their career ambitions,” the Statement said.

The Governor therefore, extended his heartfelt appreciation to women in the State for their resilience, dedication, and unwavering commitment to building a better future for themselves and their families. 

Governor Dikko Radda called on Civil Society’s Organizations and the Private Sector to join hands with the Government in advancing the cause of gender equality and women empowerment, in the country.

Governor Umaru Radda emphasized that, “As we celebrate International Women’s Day, my administration recommits itself to breaking down barriers, building bridges and empowering women for a more sustainable and prosperous Katsina State.”
