Concerned over the rising activities of Shila boys gang, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has issue a stern warning to parents and community leaders to call their children to order as the state has taken drastic measures against those who engage in criminal activities
Fintiri, who gave the warning during a press briefing, said We are warning parents across the state to control their children and stop them from associating or engaging themselves with the criminal Shila Gang.
Governor Fintiri who was represented by his deputy, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta said, “We have noticed a sharp increase in Shila Boy criminal activities in the state.
Such activities has robbed unsuspecting law abiding citizens of their valuable possession and in some instances, their lives.
Fintiri also urged parents and relevant stakeholders to stop shielding children who are members of Shila from arrest.
Hei disclosed that the government cannot fold it’s hands and watch the group drag the state into a state of lawlessness.
“Since they have chosen a life of crime, they should be ready to face the wrath of the law”, he stated
The governor maintained that any parent or community harbouring members of Shila gang will be seriously dealt with.
New Nigerian reports that the criminal activities of Shila boys group is like a cancer to the state.
The gang attack, injure unsuspecting residents with dangerous weapons, and cart away their valuables.
