Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has approved the appointment of Alhaji Mannir Ayuba Sullubawa as the Director General of the newly established Katsina State Erosion and Watershed Management Agency (KEWMA).
A statement by Director of Press of the Secretary to the State Government, Abdullahi Aliyu Yar’adua said until his new appointment, Alhaji Mannir Sullubawa was the Director of Administration and Supplies (DAS) in the office of the secretary to the government of the state.
Expressing his goodwill shortly after the new DG had presented to him the appointment letter which he received from the office of the head of civil service of the state, the Secretary to the Government of the State, Barrister Abdullahi Garba Faskari expressed optimism that Alhaji Mannir Sullubawa would deliver in his new assignment.
Barrister Abdullahi Faskari congratulated the appointee and urged him to redouble his effort as the pioneer DG of the new agency to justify the confidence reposed on him by the Governor and live to the expectations of the good people of the State.
Responding, the Director General, KEWMA, Alhaji Mannir Ayuba Sullubawa assured the SGS that, he would work hard to achieve the Agency’s objectives as set out by the Governor Dikko Radda’s administration.
In the appointment letter signed by the Head of Civil Service of the State, Alhaji Usman Isiyaku, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda said that, the appointment was based on merit, and in recognition of Alhaji Mannir’s dedication and diligence to the service.
“Governor Dikko Radda congratulated Alhaji Mannir Ayuba and prayed for him Allah’s guidance in the discharge of his duty,” the statement said.
