Katsina State Government has expressed satisfaction with the empowerment programmes introduced by elected and political office holders in their various constituencies.
The state Governor Dikko Umaru Radda made disclosure during the launching of empowerment programs by 2 political office holders in Malumfashi local government.
Dikko Radda said the number of beneficiaries indicated that the political officers of the area had been accepted by their communities.
He charged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the programs to improve their living standards. recalling that, his administration in collaboration with the Federal Government have provided various supportive programs to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal.
Governor Radda assured that Government would introduce execute various developmental projects and programs for progress of the state.
Speaking differently,the Katsina State Managing Director of the State Water Board Engineer Tukur Tingilin and member of the state house of assembly Alhaji Aminu Acid pointed out that they decided to resolved to introduce the programmes to support Government initiative of allowing people to benefit from dividends of democracy especially women, children, youths and vulnerable people.
They assured further introduction of programs with aim of transforming the lives of the teaming electorate.
In his remarks, the District Head of Malumfashi, Justice Saddiq Abdullahi Mahuta (rtd) commended the twi political office holders for their efforts to improve the living conditions of the people of the area.
